Students stay in the historic Mansion, steps away from the heart of the campus - the Slope. Transportation by Charter Bus from NYC for additional fee. This summer will feature DIGIVATIONS XGENS’ and its 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Institute featuring a mission to enable positive transformative impact through “opportunities that advance education, environmentalism, equity, food and water security, sustainable infrastructure, future of work with purpose and eliminate poverty and social injustice.” Model UN Simulations, Training and Roleplaying will prepare students to participate in DIGIVATIONS XGENS Model UN Delegation at various MUN conferences, including Yale, Harvard, Cornell, etc.
There are two options for Day Camps - Afternoons 1pm-6pm and Commuter long day 11am-9pm. The afternoon camps are listed separately. The Commuter long day option is basically the overnight schedule less the overnight and breakfast. Commuter long day registrants should register as an overnight student at the income sliding scale rate that fits your family and use the discount code at checkout "Commuter2024".
Our son, Jacob Berman, attends Cornell University. In this video, he describes why Camp Demigod is important to him and what he hopes to teach his fellow Demigods this summer: https://youtu.be/O09EhPcCHFs
Our NASA award winning programs open up exciting windows of interdisciplinary knowledge and opportunity which naturally motivates a connection between each person's interests and the broader world. They develop personal perceptions of how and why their lives matter, and how they can make a positive difference in their own community and the world. They become empowered to recognize that they can channel their own interests and motivations into making a difference at their age and beyond.
Thank you for the opportunity of allowing us to facilitate your children’s and teens' dreams and academic goals.
Warmest Regards,
Dr. Steven Lee Berman & Anne Deane Berman, Ph.D. & Jacob Berman

MEAL PLAN & ALLERGIES: Residential and Commuter participants pay for the unlimited meal plan when they register. We take food allergies, intolerances and other special dietary needs seriously. Our culinary teams are trained on safe preparation of allergen free meals and we are passionate about finding safe options for our students. We label for the major allergens (soy, egg, milk, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, fish and sesame) that are inherently found in our menu options. We also identify areas of high risk for our students with food allergies including foods produced in shared oil, and at high risk for cross contact including baked goods and ice cream. We have allergy awareness signage throughout our dining hall to help identify areas of high risk. If you or your child is sensitive or allergic to an item that we do NOT label for, or if Cross Contact is a concern, please email [email protected] at least 14 days prior to the participant's arrival date so that we can provide appropriate options for you/your child.

We have consulted with Tompkins County Department of Youth Services who said DIGIVATIONS at Sigma Pi is not required to obtain a permit pursuant to Subpart 72 of the NYS Sanitary Code. "This camp is not regulated or inspected by the New York State Department of Health and is not required to obtain a Department of Health permit. This camp is not required to follow Department of Health regulations, including, checking the state sex offender registry prior to hiring staff; maintaining minimum staff-to-child ratios; hiring medical personnel; or reporting injuries or illnesses to the Department of Health." While our small camps are not required to follow regulations, DIGIVATIONS has very high health and safety standards, including staff reference and criminal record checks.

MERCHANDISE
Parents may also purchase additional optional merchandise, such as Additional and Deluxe Swords (for campers who must have two weapons to protect the camp barrier), Personalized Costume Materials (campers may take home their costume rather than leaving it for future Demigods in the costume department), and Camp Store Credit (to buy play Drachmas: Greek Money - any unspent balance will be donated for DIGIVATIONS CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE scholarships). Visit our MERCH ONLINE STORE where campers can buy a large variety of apparel, masks, water bottles, etc.
BUILD YOUR COLLEGE PORTFOLIO
Depending on the motivation of the student and their length of stay, older students who work consistently with our faculty will leave camp with a portfolio of original works that could be used as part of their college applications. Afternoons in the Virtual camp are times made especially for that work, or private lessons may be purchased for additional instruction and support. Most of our long term campers are able to secure generous scholarships to the colleges of their choice.

"When your Model UN mentors stay up past midnight to support your application to an Ivy…
Dr. Steve Berman, I will never be able to thank you, Dr. Anne, and Jacob enough for all you do on behalf of your Digivations-XGENS Model UN students. You develop their strengths and bolster their confidence in attempting great things. Whether William gains admission to a dream school is secondary to his belief in himself as a candidate worthy of admission.
Your programs are extraordinary, but your genuine concern for the success and well-being of every student in your Institute reflects the heart from which your programs are derived.
Here’s to Cornell giving him a read!"
