DIGIVATIONS is positively transcending the challenges presented by COVID-19 and is aspiring to offer educational and engaging virtual academies, camps and programs. As part of DIGIVATIONS NASA award winning STEM + ARTS + HUMANITIES + MOVEMENT curriculum which it has delivered to 5,000 students/campers and 2,000 educators, faculty and counselors will immerse children and youth ages 8-17 in narrative experiences.
These experiences will include the natural beauty and historic scripted spaces encompassing the DIGIVATIONS CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE’s campus grounds and national forrest based in Leavenworth, WA along with well known sights and sounds of its well known Bavarian Village and River; the history of Edinburgh, Scotland, home to the birth of the World of Harry Potter; the architectural wonders and vibrancy of Paris, France; timeless history of Beijing & other interesting locations throughout the world through quests.
Campers & family members will have the opportunity to subscribe to these wonderfully refreshing engaging opportunities. Offerings include a half day option from 10:30am-1:30pm.
Join Founders Dr. Steven Lee Berman and Anne Deane Berman, Ph.D. and chief camp innovator and architect, Jacob Berman, along with Haggar El, Charis Aviva Martin, Eddie Buendia and our creative counselors and staff both new and old, as we share our virtual immersive experiences.

Scholarship Tuition Reduction Options

At the time of registration, parents choose their tuition rate according to their annual income and assets. Why does Camp Demigod elect to enable families to choose from a range of tuition rates? When our son, Jacob, came to us with the idea of creating the World’s First Overnight Camp Half-Blood, he wanted to create a summer camp where everyone felt included. Jacob said when he was ten years old, “I wanted to bring my own demigod character to life and make my story come true in a place where everyone was kind to each other and where everyone belonged.” We strive for this philosophy to filter into everything we do at Camp Demigod through our focus on your child’s interests and personalized attention. Another important way we create an environment of inclusion is to ensure that no one is turned away because of family resources to the extent possible. There is no formal financial aid reporting, we only ask for a brief explanation if their are unusual circumstances (recent job loss, care for elderly parents, sick family member, divorce, etc).
Overnight Camp Tuition Early Bird Rates range from $895-$1495 per week for overnight camps and $250-450 for VIRTUAL AT-HOME camps. The Multi-Week Discount is $20 per additional week. The Sibling Discount is $50 off each week. When your child stays for two or more weeks at the overnight Camp, we offer Saturday-Sunday stay over in the interval between weeks for an extra charge which includes laundry.

Transportation, Meals, Lessons, Merchandise
Overnight Camps run Sunday to Saturday, except for Taste of Camp Half-Blood (4 nights Sunday-Thursday). Campers who attend at least two weeks tend to establish better friendships, delve deeper into their projects, and have more fun.
TRANSPORTATION (for Overnight Camp)
This amount does not include transportation to and from the CAMP DEMIGOD: Leavenworth Branch in Peshastin, WA, 10 minutes from the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, WA. For minor children, ages 12-17, we highly recommend the Wenatchee Valley Shuttle which transports Demigods safely from SEATAC Airport, Bellevue or North Bend to The Demigod Stop (see photo of a camper who flew in from Texas) where we pick them up and drive them 5 minutes to camp. There is also a family Stay-Over option ($75 per bed/cot) on Saturday nights for those families who are driving a long distance and want to break up the trip to camp. Sign up for the dates you like when you register your child.
TUITION, SEMI-PRIVATE LESSON OPTIONS
Tuition for overnight camps cover all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees. VIRTUAL AT-HOME campers receive instruction, guest lectures, mentoring and supervision in breakout rooms and recreation fees. For those students who want to specialize in an area of study, optional private or semi-private lessons may be purchased through the on-line registration system including instruction in Music Composition, Vocal Performance, Fine Art, Film Making, game design and Creative Writing. There are also options available for semi-private Martial Arts Training, Group Innovation Seminars and ESL. Semi-private lessons are offered to Counselors-in-Training as part of their reduced tuition.

BUILD YOUR COLLEGE PORTFOLIO
Depending on the motivation of the student and their length of stay, older students who work consistently with our faculty will leave camp with a portfolio of original works that could be used as part of their college applications. Afternoons in the Virtual camp are times made especially for that work, or private lessons may be purchased for additional instruction and support. Most of our long term campers are able to secure generous scholarships to the colleges of their choice.
MERCHANDISE
Parents may also purchase additional optional merchandise, such as, camp T-Shirts, Additional and Deluxe Swords (for campers who must have two weapons to protect the camp barrier), Personalized Costume Materials (campers may take home their costume rather than leaving it for future Demigods in the costume department), hundreds of digital photos and videos are sent via a private google link to parents each week who purchase this option, and Camp Store Credit (to buy play Drachmas: Greek Money - any unspent balance will be donated for DIGIVATIONS CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE scholarships). For Virtual camps, merchandise will be shipped in advance, along with a few extras from the Demigod Lodge to help with the quest.
INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19
DIGIVATIONS has sadly been required to suspend its NASA award winning 501(c)(3) educational non-profit DIGIVATIONS CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE’s Overnight Innovation & Literary Camp DEMIGOD (DIGIVATIONS) operations for the 2020 Season. There are many reasons for this determination including severe health and safety restrictions due to COVID-19 including required compliance with State, County and local policies that foreclose us from operating and providing your Demigods with a dynamic, multidimensional, educationally rich, as well as fully immersive physical experience.
We are hopeful that it will be feasible to operate DIGIVATIONS CAMP DEMIGOD in 2021 which traditionally engenders a high degree of immersion during classes and encompasses hands-on collaborative projects such as writing scripts and short stories, making art, music, plays, prototypes, and skits. We will open registration soon and ask for a fully refundable security deposit with full nonrefundable tuition payments due by May 1, 2021.
Those families who purchase insurance to insure their registration payments as part of their camper enrollment in DIGIVATIONS could also decide to exercise the insurance option should Camp Demigod be unable to operate.
If you have any questions, please contact us by email at steve@demigodinstitute.org and anne@digivations.com. You can also contact us by phone at 360-543-5641 or 360-820-4310.
In the meantime, stay safe and well.
Wishing you all the best,
Drs. Steven Lee Berman and Anne Deane Berman, PhD and Jacob Berman
