DIGIVATIONS CAMP FAMILIES, DEMIGODS & XGENERS:
On behalf of DIGIVATIONS, we are pleased to announce that July 3-31 we celebrate the return of in-person NASA award winning Overnight Innovation & Literary DIGIVATIONS INSTITUTE which includes camphalf-blood.org, campfandom.org & harrypottercamps.org. We are pleased to announce our exquisite and robust facilities on Hobart and William Smith Colleges on Seneca Lake in Geneva, NY. The campus is conveniently located 50 minutes drive to Rochester, Ithaca, or Syracuse, NY; 4 hours from Boston and New York City. While we miss the Demigod Lodge in Leavenworth, WA, after much careful consideration, we believe our students will thrive during their time at the new campus in Upstate New York.
July 23-31 will feature DIGIVATIONS XGENS’ and its 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Institute and Accelerator have a mission to enable positive transformative impact through “opportunities that advance education, environmentalism, equity, food and water security, sustainable infrastructure, future of work with purpose and eliminate poverty and social injustice.”
Covid-19
DIGIVATIONS’ programs are robust, staffed by excellent leadership, academic faculty, staff and counselors, and will include holistically selected cohorts of outstanding student campers. Most significantly, all students, ages 10 and over, are required to be vaccinated, and tested for COVID prior to arrival. They will be able to enjoy fun outdoor activities on the campus, and also depending on CDC and various health authorities' guidances venture to external and unique natural environments. Please remember during registration to purchase individual registration cancelation insurance.
The Camps' are student centric featuring offerings where each youth will be able to pursue a wide range of interests as they learn and apply new knowledge as part of quests and adventures, and include, among other topics, the sciences (artificial intelligence, biology, chemistry, genetics, commercial space, quantum physics); the arts, including fine arts, music including composition and theatre; humanities (ancient greek history and language, anthropology, ethnography, linguistics, and creative writing); design thinking, physical, card, and board games such as capture the flag, D&D, Magic, Wizards Chess; and sports such as QUIDDITCH and GAGA.
Our son, Jacob Berman, is attends Cornell University. In this video, he describes why Camp Demigod is important to him and what he hopes to teach his fellow Demigods this summer: https://youtu.be/O09EhPcCHFs
Through DIGIVATIONS’ FUTURES Module designed to foster 360º growth and development of each person with a focus on key aspects of college preparatory education and future college and career planning, we enable youth and professionals to feel socially comfortable after being isolated during the pandemic. We explore their interests and comfortably guide them to a path that enables them to emerge as leaders expanding on all their talents intellectually and kinesthetically. Our NASA award winning programs open up exciting windows of interdisciplinary knowledge and opportunity which naturally motivates a connection between each person's interests and the broader world. They develop personal perceptions of how and why their lives matter, and how they can make a positive difference in their own community and the world. They become empowered to recognize that they can channel their own interests and motivations into making a difference at their age and beyond.
Thank you for the opportunity of allowing us to facilitate your children’s and teens' dreams and academic goals.
Warmest Regards,
Dr. Steven Lee Berman & Anne Deane Berman, Ph.D. & Jacob Berman

Tuition Reduction Options

When our son, Jacob, came to us with the idea of creating the World’s First Overnight Camp Half-Blood, he wanted to create a summer camp where everyone felt included. Jacob said when he was ten years old, “I wanted to bring my own demigod character to life and make my story come true in a place where everyone was kind to each other and where everyone belonged.” We strive for this philosophy to filter into everything we do at Camp Demigod through our focus on your child’s interests and personalized attention. Another important way we create an environment of inclusion is to ensure that no one is turned away because of family resources to the extent possible. In the past, before the pandemic, we have used a very generous sliding scale for tuition. However, this year, parents who require assistance may apply for a $250 scholarship at the end of the registration process by using this coupon code: 2022 Financial Need. The coupon will take off $250 to your tuition immediately. There is no formal financial aid reporting, we only ask for a brief explanation if there are unusual circumstances (specific effects of the pandemic, recent job loss, care for elderly parents, sick family member, divorce, etc). DIGIVATIONS CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE is a 501(c)3 federal nonprofit. If families are able, we offer a place in the application to contribute to the scholarship fund. Every contribution will help another child attend camp this year. We will invite families to take part in our virtual fundraisers throughout the year.

Visit our MERCH ONLINE STORE where campers can buy a large variety of apparel, masks, water bottles, etc.
BUILD YOUR COLLEGE PORTFOLIO
Depending on the motivation of the student and their length of stay, older students who work consistently with our faculty will leave camp with a portfolio of original works that could be used as part of their college applications. Afternoons in the Virtual camp are times made especially for that work, or private lessons may be purchased for additional instruction and support. Most of our long term campers are able to secure generous scholarships to the colleges of their choice.
If you have any questions, please contact us by email at steve@demigodinstitute.org and anne@digivations.com. You can also contact us by phone at 360-543-5641 or 360-820-4310.
